Our Dang Name

Why is it our "dang" name? Because it took forever to figure out! Thanks to some help with current bandmembers: Katy, and Richard, we finally came up with the band name Mayfly(Actually Katy thought it up). While it is a cool name it is defenitely not symbolic- Wikiepedia says it's a fly that basically lives to mate. It spends most of it's life growing up, wakes up, has sex, and dies.

What is Music to Mayfly?

Music is the expression of emotion or feeling - whether it be depressed, ecstatic, or some other mood - through tones, and rhythm. We are all super excited about making music, listening to music, and discovering new music. We strive to be creative, fresh, and innovative!
